Salary Context
Salary undisclosed โ estimated mid-to-senior range for a Sales & Customer Manager in Nairobi

Highlight any experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or school-specific tools like SchoolsBuddy or Veracross) and describe how you used data to make strategic decisions, not just operational ones.

Honest Assessment
Green Flags
- Enko Education is an established and growing pan-African network, offering genuine career progression beyond Kenya into a continent-wide organisation.
- The role is explicitly strategic and leadership-level, giving the right candidate real influence over enrolment direction and visibility with Heads of School and senior management.
- The education sector in Kenya's international school market is resilient and growing, making this a stable and commercially meaningful space to operate in.
- The posting is detailed and specific about responsibilities and requirements, suggesting a well-structured organisation that knows what it needs โ a positive sign for role clarity post-hire.
Watch Out
- No salary range is disclosed, which makes it difficult for candidates to assess whether the compensation matches the seniority and scope of a multi-campus strategic leadership role.
- The role spans four campuses, implying significant travel and coordination demands, but the posting does not clarify whether there is a primary base campus or what support infrastructure exists for the team lead.
- The breadth of responsibilities โ strategy, CRM analysis, parent engagement, team leadership, and brand management โ is very wide for a single role, which may indicate a lean team structure or blurred boundaries between this position and other functions.
A Day in the Life
A typical week would open with a CRM dashboard review to track pipeline movement across all four campuses, followed by team check-ins with admissions coordinators to prioritise follow-ups on warm leads and upcoming school tour bookings. Mid-week might involve attending a community partnership meeting or representing Enko at a local expat or relocation event to generate new enquiries, then presenting a monthly enrolment performance report to the Heads of School. By Friday, you could be personally guiding a prospective family through a campus visit, refining a digital outreach campaign with the marketing team, and updating the enrolment forecast in the CRM ahead of a leadership sync.
