Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing company based in Nairobi, is looking for a results-driven Growth Manager to spearhead business expansion, revenue generation, and strategic partnerships. This is a senior individual-contributor-meets-team-lead role designed for a sales professional who thrives in building relationships, closing deals, and unlocking new market opportunities across diverse sectors.
You will own the full growth pipeline — from prospecting and lead nurturing to deal closure and account management — while also mentoring and coaching a sales team to consistently hit targets. - Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy targeting new business acquisition across corporates, SMEs, NGOs, schools, logistics firms, and enterprise clients.
- Identify, prospect, and convert high-value leads into long-term revenue-generating partnerships.
- Build, manage, and nurture a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reporting.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a sales team to achieve individual and collective revenue targets.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements, service contracts, and commercial deals with key decision-makers.
- Develop compelling pitch decks, proposals, and presentations tailored to diverse client segments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align growth initiatives with organisational capacity.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform the go-to-market strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings across Nairobi and beyond.
- Deliver weekly and monthly sales performance reports to senior leadership with insights and recommendations.
- Must demonstrate 4–6 years of hands-on B2B sales, business development, or partnerships experience with measurable revenue outcomes.
- Must be able to manage and grow a CRM-based pipeline from prospecting through to deal closure without heavy oversight.
- Must have coached or managed a sales team, setting targets, tracking KPIs, and improving team performance.
- Must be able to present confidently and negotiate commercially favourable terms with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Must demonstrate experience selling across at least two of the following segments: corporates, SMEs, NGOs, schools, logistics, or enterprise clients.
- Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Communications, or a closely related field.
- Must be proficient in CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to leverage an existing Nairobi corporate network to accelerate deal flow is a strong advantage.
The estimated monthly salary for this role is KES 120,000 – 200,000, commensurate with experience, demonstrated track record, and the scope of client segments managed. A performance-linked commission or bonus structure is strongly implied given the revenue-generation nature of the role. Final compensation will be confirmed during the interview process.

Ideal candidate: A commercially sharp, well-networked sales professional with 4–6 years of B2B experience who is equally comfortable closing deals independently and developing the capability of a sales team. You are data-driven, relationship-oriented, and have a track record of growing revenue in competitive markets. You understand the Nairobi business ecosystem and can navigate complex stakeholder environments across sectors.
