Role Overview

Riset Software & Systems LTD, a leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Point of Sale (POS) software provider with a strong footprint across East Africa and Singapore, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused POS & ERP Implementation and Sales Executive to join its Nairobi-based team. Founded in 2018, Riset has built a reputation for delivering innovative business software solutions that help organisations streamline operations and drive growth.

This role is a unique blend of software implementation, customer training, and business development. You will serve as the primary interface between Riset's software products and its clients — guiding businesses through onboarding, conducting hands-on training, and identifying new sales opportunities. If you are passionate about technology, enjoy working with people, and have a strong business acumen, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the fast-expanding B2B software industry in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train clients on the effective use of POS and ERP software systems through structured, hands-on sessions.
  • Conduct professional software demonstrations, product walkthroughs, and presentations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Support end-to-end software implementation projects including system setup, configuration, and user onboarding.
  • Provide first-level technical support and user guidance to ensure smooth adoption of software solutions.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
  • Visit client premises for on-site training, implementation support, and relationship management as required.
  • Identify and qualify new sales leads, and actively assist in converting prospects into paying customers.
  • Follow up on client inquiries promptly, resolve issues, and escalate complex matters to the relevant team.
  • Promote Riset's full range of products and services to potential clients across various business sectors.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, training sessions, and sales pipeline activities.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills — able to explain software concepts clearly to non-technical business users.
  • Must be able to plan and deliver engaging training sessions and product demonstrations to individuals and groups.
  • Must show proven ability to build and manage client relationships, with a customer-first mindset at all times.
  • Must be capable of identifying client pain points and matching them to appropriate software solutions.
  • Must possess 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, software training, or business development — internship and attachment experience considered.
  • Must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Procurement & Supply Chain, Banking & Finance, Statistics, Human Resource Management, or a related business discipline.
  • Must be willing and able to travel within Nairobi and to client sites outside the city when required.
  • Must demonstrate professional presentation, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must be proficient in basic computer use — MS Office, email communication, and comfort with learning new software platforms quickly.
Salary & Benefits
  • Basic Salary: KSh 16,000 – KSh 30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Attractive commission structure tied to sales performance — top performers can significantly supplement their base pay.
  • Performance-based incentives and growth opportunities within a fast-growing technology company.
Who Should Apply
