Warehouse Supervisor

Baker Hughes is seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team in Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of products to customers while maintaining compliance with Baker Hughes' standard operating procedures. You will oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, uphold housekeeping and storage standards, and play a pivotal role in inventory planning and material segregation for project jobs.

This is a hands-on supervisory position that sits at the intersection of logistics, inventory management, and customer service. You will collaborate closely with Logistics Coordinators, Service Delivery Coordinators, and Inventory Coordinators to ensure that critical materials are available, properly segregated, and delivered on time — directly supporting Baker Hughes' long-term customer commitments across product lines.

• Compile and maintain a list of high-value customers with long-term contracts and review their material requirements as part of project proposals.
• Identify and prepare a Critical Materials List for each customer and analyze it against current warehouse inventory levels and storage capacity.
• Generate and distribute the Critical Material and Segregation for Customers report to the relevant Project Teams.
• Coordinate Material Planning and Segregation activities for all active Project Jobs.
• Create and process Goods Receipts for incoming materials in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assess capacity limitations and modify materials or quantities accordingly, in consultation with the Logistics Coordinator and Service Delivery Coordinators.
• Communicate inventory modifications to the relevant Area teams through the Inventory Coordinator.
• Determine whether current stocking levels require adjustment based on demand forecasting and logistics input.
• Work collaboratively with the Logistics Coordinator to execute original or modified fulfillment plans.
• Enforce and uphold HSE standards, including the 5 Fundamentals of a Perfect HSE Day, ensuring a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping standards and ensure all storage areas comply with Baker Hughes' policies and procedures.

• Hold a High School Diploma or GED at minimum, with demonstrated forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience operating within Quality, Logistics, Warehouse, or Inventory Management environments.
• Apply structured problem-solving approaches to identify operational inefficiencies and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Collaborate effectively across multi-functional teams including logistics, service delivery, and project management stakeholders.
• Utilize MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) to compile reports, manage data, and communicate updates accurately.
• Operate with a strong HSE mindset, consistently applying safety protocols and contributing to a zero-incident workplace culture.
• Manage competing priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy in inventory records and reporting.

Baker Hughes offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and aligned with international energy sector standards. While the specific salary for this role has not been publicly disclosed, market benchmarks for a Warehouse Supervisor at this level in Kenya typically range between KES 120,000 – KES 200,000 per month.
